The International Conference on Evolutionary Design, Manufacturing and Operational Practices for Sustainability (ICEMDOPS-2022) will be organized by department of Mechanical Engineering, C. V. Raman Global University. ICEMDOPS emphasizes the importance of use of digital technologies and latest developments in the field of mechanical and industrial engineering to enhance Environmental and Resource Sustainability. The conference provides a platform to scientists, academicians and industry personnel from different parts of world to share knowledge through their innovative scientific research works. The 1st edition of ICEDMOPS conference will be held on hybrid mode at C. V. Raman Global University, Vidyanagar, Bhubaneswar, India. The digitalization of industry has been a necessity today, for sustainable development through economic growth, environmental stewardship and social inclusion. Digital Technology (DT) enabled solutions such as additive manufacturing (AM), cyber-physical systems (CPS), and blockchains can help organizations migrate to a circular economic model. In terms of product remanufacturing, the Internet of Things, Virtual and Augmented Reality applications may make it easier to build strategic decision models that reduce the amount of time and money spent on remanufacturing while enhancing efficiency. Furthermore, the use of big data analytics can assist firms in identifying previously undisclosed trends and unlocking the myriad environmental and resource sustainability opportunities that exist inside their operations.
